A special thank you to all who participated in this years event. Despite being thrown multiple curveballs, continual changes and many uncertainties, not to mention the weather (hadn't rained in what felt like months), we pulled off a much needed day of great networking and fun while staying within guidelines. Cheers to this industry for all your support! |

Your Opinion Matters! Instead of sending a typical survey, we want to hear from you. Pick up the phone and give us a call, or send us a quick email with your feedback on this years event. Knowing this was not a typical year for trade show and attendance was not there - we sold out with two full courses on golf. We want your venue feedback, breakfast, lunch, pizza truck, cupcakes, Bloody Mary's, speed of golf, virtual raffle, etc. Do we open bocci? bring in some music? Would you participate again? Are you bummed you missed us? Let us know! We take your thoughts and try to make them happen next year. Contact CHCC Executive Director Jenn Jennings, jjennings@chcca.net, (860) 533-1163, CHCC President, Joe DeFusco, Golf Committee Chairman Chris Perley or Trade Show Committee Chairman Don Wheeler. |

Before resuming business operations, check the building to see if it’s ready for occupancy:
- Ensure that ventilation systems in your facility operate properly. For building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC systems) that have been shut down or on setback, review new construction start-up guidance provided in ASHRAE Standard 180-2018, Standard Practice for the Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systemspdf icon

- Increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible by opening windows and doors, using fans, and other methods. Do not open windows and doors if doing so poses a safety or health risk for current or subsequent occupants, including children (e.g., allowing outdoor environmental contaminants including carbon monoxide, molds, or pollens into the building).
- Evaluate the building and its mechanical and life safety systems to determine if the building is ready for occupancy. Check for hazards associated with prolonged facility shutdown such as mold growthexternal icon, rodents or pestspdf icon external icon, or issues with stagnant water systems, and take appropriate remedial actions.
