CHCC Presents our 2024 Scholarship Program

The Connecticut Heating & Cooling Contractors Association (CHCC) and its sponsors annually award five top applicants a scholarship award + an opportunity to compete for a $1,000 grand prize.

All applicants must be a junior student enrolled in one of the CTECS HVAC, heating, or cooling programs.

*NEW for 2024, the five top applicants will be awarded a $500 award + an opportunity to compete in a mock job interview for a $1,000 Scholarship and apprenticeship job placement.

This scholarship is designed to enhance the educational and workforce opportunities available to the students of Connecticut while providing incentive to stay in the trade.

Click the Register Now Button toward the top of this page. Application deadline is December 31, 2023 11:59PM – Late applications will not be accepted.

Once application form is completed online be sure to send the required documentation (listed below):

(1) Letter of recommendation (not from shop instructor)

(2) Transcript

(3) Essay or Video: Please submit with this application a one to two page essay or approximate 2 minute video explaining the following: (1) What are your post secondary goals? (2) Where do you see yourself in 5 years? (3) What interests you most about the HVAC industry?
